Who We Are
OneSpirit Interfaith ministry was first founded back in 1981 in New York and has been established in Ireland since 2008. In Ireland we have over 100 ministers in all counties North and South and we have formed to be OneSpirit Interfaith Ministers of Ireland Association. We are a diverse bunch and each Minister brings their own style, love, and energy to their Ministry. We serve in many different ways and this website sets out the varied forms of services that we provide.
We come from different faith backgrounds and have an amazing variety of work and life experience, As celebrants, we received training in major world faith paths and alternatives, and we are happy to work with you should you wish to incorporate any particular elements into your ceremony. We take a vow of inclusivity at ordination and welcome diversity. We offer many services, which include: creating a sacred ceremony, whether it’s welcoming a new life into the world, a marriage or commitment ceremony, a celebration of life ceremony.
Ceremonies and rituals have always played a very important part in human development throughout history. Whatever your beliefs may be, we feel that pivotal life events can be honored in so many ways now as we evolve from traditional church-based practices to more personal, joyful, and individual ways of marking these special times.

Our community is our church. We are non-denominational, so do not have church buildings or adhere to dogma. Instead we work alongside you to reflect your unique core beliefs and values.
We have Ministers located right throughout Ireland and our Affiliate organisation OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation has Ministers located throughout the UK.
Frequently Asked Questions
First of all, InterFaith is not a new religion or even an old one. In fact, it’s not a religion at all. OneSpirit InterFaith started in the 1970’s in the US as a bridge between different religious traditions, but over time it has grown to cater for people of all faiths and none.
Occupying the spiritual field in between the different religious traditions, touching all but adhering to none, we are a group of ordained ministers, based all throughout Ireland with a desire to serve our communities and individual people. We are trained to provide a wide range of ceremonies, including legal marriages. This means that in our work we are not focussed on any one tradition, religious or not, but on the beliefs and values of individuals. We can take the best from everything and everyone. We see you as you are.
We cater for people of all faiths and none. We believe that people may not be religious but they do have core values and secular beliefs that are the foundation stones for living life. This brings depth to personality and relationships.
